Join us in helping create a bold, affirming space for honest conversations about sexual health, pleasure, reproductive justice, and community care. Let’s Talk About Sex Conference is more than a gathering. It is a space where people come to speak openly about their bodies, their experiences, and their needs, and spaces like this take intention, care, and people to bring them to life.
Volunteers play an essential role in shaping that experience. This is not only about supporting logistics, but about helping create an environment where attendees feel welcomed, supported, and able to fully engage in the conversations taking place. Every interaction, every moment of guidance, and every act of care contributes to the overall energy of the space and what people carry with them after they leave.
Volunteers may receive scholarship support in travel and/or lodging, but recipients will still be expected to cover their conference registration. Meals, including breakfast and lunch, will be provided with conference registration.
Volunteers are expected to contribute a minimum of approximately 10 hours during the conference and will arrive on Thursday, August 5, 2026 for orientation and preparation. Volunteer roles may include guiding attendees to sessions, supporting stage and session logistics, assisting with registration, and helping maintain overall event flow, ensuring that attendees can move through the space with clarity and ease.
We are intentionally creating accessible and flexible volunteer roles, and responsibilities will be organized in shifts so that volunteers still have time to attend and enjoy conference sessions. Volunteer shifts will be structured to allow participation in conference programming. Individuals who are presenting are still welcome to volunteer, and schedules will be arranged to support both roles. We are committed to making sure volunteers feel prepared, supported, and able to participate in the full experience of the conference.
We are looking for people who are ready to show up with great energy, care for community, and a collaborative spirit. This space brings together people from different backgrounds, identities, and experiences, and volunteers help ensure that everyone who enters feels respected, held, and able to engage fully.
By volunteering, you are contributing to a space that centers bodily autonomy, community care, and the right for people to make informed decisions about their lives and futures. We look forward to building this work together.
